The family of Old Mill Counting Systems is the product of more than 40 years of research, development, sales, and service in the field of feeding and counting of seeds, small machine parts, and other small items.
Initial development was in total counting of seeds, the first unit being delivered in 1961 for counting peanuts for grade determination.
Subsequent interest in extending the design to packeting by count resulted in development of the In-Transit Diverter and many features used in today’ systems.
Advances in electronics and optics and the availability of computer controls have resulted in continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and the ability to form systems of counters and interface them with external computers and other control systems.
Presently three major types of counting systems are being produced, these are:
Total Count Systems, Lot Size or Batching Systems, and Special Counting Equipment
Quick Empty Stand
Empty any seed remaining in the feeder bowl at the conclusion of counting is elimitaded by simply tilting the entire feeder and bowl to empty the contents into a graing pan as illustrated and in seconds it is ready for the next sample. Exclusive with Old Mill
